I joined One Eighty in 2025 and every day since has brought new and exciting challenges. The supportive team and collaborative environment make it a great place to grow and I enjoy helping our clients solve complex problems through materials engineering.

I would dismantle whatever I could get my hands on at a young age, which led me to study Mechanical Engineering at Stellenbosch University. I later pursued a Master’s degree in materials engineering, drawn to the field for its wide ranging applications. I enjoy uncovering why materials behave the way they do and investigating the finer details.

I believe One Eighty’s goal of expanding into Africa is an important one. Cross border knowledge sharing and collaboration have the potential to drive innovation and create opportunities for engineers and businesses alike that leaves a lasting impact.

My word for the year is transformation, as I develop and refine my expertise and skills. This year marks a significant shift in my career and I’m eager to embrace the opportunities that come with it.

I love being at the beach outside of work, whether I’m surfing, rowing or just enjoying the ocean. I also enjoy running and hiking and reading some good books.
