One Eighty is a uniquely Bureau Veritas Marine and Offshore approved laboratory, and the only materials testing lab in Africa that is a SASSDA (Southern African Stainless Steel Development Association) Member. One Eighty is also a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC)

Our Accreditations and Memberships:
Through SANAS, we are ISO 17025:2017 accredited for the widest range of metallugical tests of all materials testing laboratories in Africa.
SANAS is responsible for carrying out accreditations in respect of conformity assessments mandated through the Accreditation for Conformity Assessment, Calibration and Good Laboratory Practice Act (Act 19 of 2006).

Bureau Veritas is a French company specialized in testing, inspection and certification founded in 1828. We are approved by Bureau Veritas for our range of accredited materials testing in the Marine and Offshore industry.
SAIMENA is the South African Institute of Marine Engineers and Naval Architects, the only technical society in South Africa dedicated to marine engineers and naval architects.
