This Refund & Returns Policy applies to all bookings made with One Eighty Root Cause Analysis Africa (Pty) Ltd herein referred to as “One Eighty” through our website and online payment gateway (PayFast). Because we provide services and time-based bookings, rather than physical products, the refund conditions differ from standard retail transactions.
1. Nature of Services
One Eighty operates on a booking and scheduled-service basis.
When a booking is confirmed, we allocate time, resources, and personnel specifically for your session or service. As a result, cancellations or date changes may impact our scheduling and availability.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once:

Payment has been successfully processed via PayFast, and
-
You receive a confirmation email outlining date, time, and service details.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the details provided at checkout are correct.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
Refund eligibility is based on the timing of the cancellation:

More than 48 hours before the scheduled booking
Full refund eligible, minus PayFast transaction fees (non-refundable). -
Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled booking
50% refund of the booking fee. -
Less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking
No refund available.
3.2 Failure to Attend (No-Show)
If the customer does not attend the scheduled booking and has not cancelled in advance:
No refund will be issued.
3.3 Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may reduce the length of your session.
No partial refund or credit will be provided.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is allowed based on the following conditions:

More than 48 hours in advance:
Reschedule once at no charge. -
24–48 hours before the booking:
One reschedule allowed but subject to availability. -
Less than 24 hours before the booking:
Rescheduling is not permitted; the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
5. Service Provider Cancellations
If One Eighty must cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, emergency, operational issues):
You will be offered one of the following options:

A full refund, or
-
A free rescheduled booking at the next available date and time.
One Eighty will not be liable for additional expenses or losses beyond the value of the booking.
6. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via PayFast.

PayFast’s processing fees are non-refundable unless the cancellation is initiated by One Eighty.

Refunds may take up to 7–10 business days to reflect, depending on banking channels.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:

Booking fees for missed appointments

Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time

Special promotions, discounted services, or limited-time offers

Custom service packages once work has commenced
8. Customer Rights Under South African Law
This policy operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and other applicable South African legislation.
Where applicable, the customer’s statutory rights will be honoured.
