I’ve been working in the tech world for decades, right from the days when home computers first arrived on the scene. Technology has always been a passion of mine. I’ve loved following its twists and turns, and I’m just as excited about where it’s headed next as I was when I started.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats, including some examples: technical support, sales, service calls for big brands, database administration and application development across a variety of industries. When the internet era began, I jumped right in, building dozens of websites for businesses in all sorts of fields over the span of many years. I’ve also handled desktop and server support for major companies worldwide, all while continuing freelance IT work for anyone who needed a helping hand.
What I’ve really valued is the chance to work across so many industries, from healthcare, marketing and law to geophysical surveys that explore what’s beneath our feet. Every project has pushed me to grow and expand my skills, and I’m grateful for all the experiences along the way.
Now, I’m thrilled to be part of the team at One Eighty Materials Engineering Solutions (Pty), diving into the exciting world of materials testing. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and all the opportunities it brings!
