I try to stay as active as possible, often through exercise, particularly running, which helps clear my mind. The physical activity fuels my passion for cooking and baking, and I always look forward to the end of the day when I can try a new recipe I found online or bake something to share with friends and family. Additionally, I have a deep love for reading, and one of my life goals is to build my own personal library. Most of all, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, whether it’s running a half-marathon together or a quiet evening at home.
My word for the year is engage. For me, this means being fully present and intentional in everything I do—especially in my work. It’s about bringing focus, energy, and curiosity to each task, conversation, and challenge. I want to deepen my involvement in projects, ask better questions, and contribute in more meaningful ways. Choosing engage is a reminder to stay connected not just to the work itself, but also to the people I collaborate with and the purpose behind what we do.
I’m excited about the Africa Expansion Project and the possibilities it holds for both our company and the continent. As a South African-based business, it’s inspiring to see us take steps toward engaging more deeply with the rest of Africa—a region full of untapped potential, diverse talent, and incredible resources. I see this project as an opportunity to contribute to the continent’s growth story, helping to unlock the value that already exists and support Africa in becoming the global force it’s capable of being. It’s a meaningful journey, and I’m proud to be part of it.
