I pursued Engineering because of its wide scope and the opportunity to constantly learn. It’s a field that allows you to apply yourself in many ways and keeps you thinking critically.
Working at One Eighty has been a great fit for me because of the company’s focus on growth both in terms of developing people and expanding its reach. The Africa expansion mission is a clear reflection of that mindset. It’s a practical, forward thinking move that I believe can open up real opportunities across the continent.
This year, I chose “opportunity” as my word of the year. For me, it’s a reminder to stay open to growth, to new challenges, and to the unexpected paths that can lead to something better. Whether it’s learning something new in my field, taking on more responsibility, or being part of something bigger like the Africa expansion at One Eighty, I want to approach it all with a mindset that looks for potential instead of limits. Opportunity is everywhere if you’re willing to recognize it.
