The One Eighty Engineering SolutionA client had several heat exchangers on site where the water that was used for the heat exchangers was treated and checked regularly. In spite of this effort the heat exchanger failed because of corrosion. The water from the heat exchanger was tested and found to comply with the standard water composition requirements. Consequently poor water treatment could be excluded as a root cause for failure of the heat exchanger.
