< Mechanical Testing As part of our research and development resources we are able to conduct a wide range of mechanical tests to measure the strength of materials, their hardness, their toughness and also their fatigue properties. These tests help us to measure the properties of materials and see how they are influenced by changes in manufacturing conditions, differences in composition or how they have deteriorated by exposure to a specific environment. We use tensile testers that are also able to apply bending loads, Rockwell hardness testers, Instron Fatigue testers and charpy V-notch testers for this purpose.
