About One Eighty Degrees

One Eighty was established in 2002 and since then has developed a client base of over 200 clients nationally and internationally.  We have over 50 clients based in USA and Europe who routinely use our services.  (click to see list of clients).  One Eighty is an established industry leader in materials and metallurgical expertise. 

Some of our most notable projects include materials selection for the hot water pipe system at SA Breweries.  We have also assisted Consol Glass with some of the cast iron mould issues.  Rainbow Farms have contracted us to look at failed equipment on their byproducts plant and develop long term solutions.  Irvin and Johnson routinely appoint us to inspect various issues on board their fleet of fishing vessels.  We have also assisted KVW in the selection of appropriate bronze alloys for their heat exchanger devices.  Additionally we have been appointed by a number of law firms to provide expert advice on various cases.  

One Eighty also runs a range of technology development projects.  At the moment we are busy developing two novel products as well as a commercial research project on the development of exciting new materials for medical devices.  

One Eighty is often asked to present on case studies and engineering subjects at various society meetings.
